This is a Brazilian site which has a free video editing software download (ABC VIDEO ROLL). It looks very good and simple and allows editing of video with addition of a sound track and has some transitions included. You will obviously need a video capture card, or some way of getting avi files into your computer, but it looks very simple and easy to use. A good starting point. A possibility for someone involved in cell animation to put scanned drawings into a movie format if they don't have flash. This program seems to allow a lot of file types to be imported. I tried an avi, a psd, and a gif. The display of the psd and the gif were different to the avi, but that may be because the size difference. Maybe if the picture size is reduced, that would solve the fact that it wanted to play full screen. It is relatively simple and has a good tutorial included.
